Short range signal emitters, whose name iBeacons is registered by Apple, and which via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transmit a signal with a single identifier code that activates an application in a mobile device. This allows its position to be determined and enables individual interaction with it, personalising the communication and offers that each user receives depending on their preferences, location and personal data.
